I NEED HELP!! 1.8T or 3.0???
Hey newbie here!!
I was trying to decide between audi A4 or bmw 330i, Well i have decided to go with audi due to MANY factors... I am looking for years 02-05, I really have no clue on what motor to get.... 1.8t or 3.0??? And it looks like there was alot of problems with 02 1.8t???? Gas mileage kinda matters... I drive a lifted truck now, cant be much worse, =) In the future im looking to do body kit, wheels tires, then turbo upgrade chip ext.... Any suggestions? thanks guys

1.8t with APR 1+ flash will kill a 3.0 and get better mileage
if you want looks, mine is a USP (ultrasport) comes with a 6 speed, lip spoiler, door blades, and rear spoiler, special rear bumper and a few other things, probably the best looking car for the $

Ok... I see most people like the 1.8T..... And I really like the look of yours! And the ARP 1+ flash..is that a chipped or computer jsut being completely reflashed? I think Ill start looking for 1.8T's..lol
companies no longer soder in the "chip" except MTM and APR stage 3+ now they are just uploaded or flashed in.. you will also need injectors, PM manguyen on audizine for them...

after APR 1+? apr claims 235hp 275tq i believe... if you do exhaust, test pipe, turbo inlet pipe and FMIC (complete 1+ setup) i would say close to 250chp... the FMIC made the biggest difference in power after the chip, exhaust and test pipe i didnt feel a big difference just quicker spool and my EGTs stayed lower and returned to normal much much quicker though
the lifted trucks can sometimes cause problems. my lifted chevy trucks give problem occasionally to me.
