Ok so at a stop while the car is running I am getting a pulse from my car.... a rumble from my engine the goes on and off at regular 1 second intervals. Smooths out as soon as I am moving. Anyone else have this problem, what can I do? This happened since I got my car fixed up at the mechanics... It's the kind of vibrations you can feel through the steering wheel, but I wuold love my car to be smooth even while stopped!

 

Is it rumbling while you accelerate too? It could be a cylinder misfire. I would get the codes on it and you'll probably find its a misfire..usually requiring replacing the coil park or spark plug for that cylinder. Hope that solves it for ya.

Thanks! It does smooth out when I accelerate, although I am changing out my spark plugs anyways, just for performance perks... if that doesn't work I am going to get the codes....
