WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED????
Alright, so if you pop your hood and look at the left side of the engine bay, you'll find two small hoses that come off some sort of plastic bypass valve. It sits right above the passenger side wheel-well (sp) --- real close to where the top of the strut would mount into the wheel well. This plastic valve on my B6 is starting to deteriorate and I need to replace but I don't know what its called. Maybe I'll get a picture of it tomorrow and post it.
Until then, anyone have a clue what I'm referring to? ('02 A4 1.8T)

If it is what I am thinking of it is called an in-line check valve, black and grey. Mine craped out on me and caused me to lose major boost pressure. I changed it and everything was great. $35 at audi, $25 at ECStuning.

Sorry if it is not the right thing.
