Hi, I just purchased my 2002 A4 Quattro today with 167K Miles it is in great shape but a lot of the buttons for climate control and Nav are in bad shape and need to be replaced, what is the most cost effective way to do this? are the buttons themselves replaceable or does the whole unit need to be replaced? besides for looking in salvage yards what is the best way to get these replaced?

its a pain to replace all the buttons! It has been done before but its alot of work! best off finding a used climate control and replace that. As for the navi u could try to pry off the buttons and repaint them but ive never heard anyone doing it on a navi.
