bummer... i guess mycar doesnt have it. i just looked at the door handle and it seems to me that where the light is supposed to be at theres a cap covering it. i wonder if i can pop out that coverand insert a bulb.

I thought all b6's had this. my b5 doesn't but I know all the A6's do. You could actually rewire it yourself (if its covered by a cap it most likely didn't come wired). Throw an LED on. It'll be brighter and glow nicely.

After owning my car for 2 years, I just noticed that the inside door handles are illuminated because I had to take the door panel off to fix the window and I saw wires going to the door handle. I believe it is an LED connected to some fiber optic/plastic material shaped as a line. It illuminates when you turn your lights on.

i'm hoping its already pre-wired and it only needs a bulb and/or fuse.
