I just picked up a 2002 Audi A4.

Question 1:
I was curious when I press the lock button to lock the vehicle on the key fob I can get the lights to flash but the horn does not sound at all. So unless I can see the lights I have no way of knowing if the car locked.
Second is when I hit the panic button the lights all flash but there is no audible horn noise when it goes off as well.

Is this normal or should I have some audible noise and how do I go about fixing the issue?

Question 2:
Is there no way to pause a CD on the Bose radio? I cannot find a hard or soft button at all and I just turn off the radio by hitting the power button when I have a call or want to pause the CD.

the key issue i would get checked out because mine makes a chirp and the lights blink when its locked.. then it blinks twice when it unlocks.. thats what it is suppose to do.. maybe someone changed the settings through a Vag.com. caues i know you can turn those things off.. but why would you want to... but the Radio can NOT be paused.. i cant on mine either.. i just turn it off if i wanna pause it too..
