I am a n00b. Here are some problems and looking for advice on how you would fix them; Buy these parts at the dealership or online, install myself or get it done professionally, links to how-tos, etc would all be greatly appreciated advice. This board and the members rule.

1. Check engine light P0118: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor.
2. CEL P0393: Camshaft position sensor
3. RPM needle "jumps" on occasion around 1000 and 2000 revs. This guy posted a video (below) on his 1.8T that's strikingly similar with my 3.0CVT.

EDIT: I found how-tos to change the ECT Sensor just by googling. Also looks to be cheap to buy at the stealership. Still stressing out about the RPM jump and hard shifts. Please help.

2nd EDIT: After searching the interwebs, this (RPM jump/hard shift/idle shake) could be attributed to multiple things. This is what the problem could be; Bad coil packs, spark plugs, software needs an update, Auto Trans Fluid needs change (or NOT change, but flushed, or is it changed...), etc. Has anyone posted their solution? Many threads are about this and no definite person [Original Poster] saying "hey guys I'm back and _______ fixed it".
