Default Looking 4 Exhaust

I have an 04 A4 3.0 S-line, I'm looking for exhaust, be it mufflers or cat back, not so much for performance but just some growl. I found these cheap glass pack spiral flows on ebay for $50, can I just cut out my stockies and put these on to do the trick? What is the diameter of the stock exhaust? Any input is welcome.

Mufflers will change the sound a little bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hgdw-iTuXbc and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeK75...eature=related these mufflers are just an example.

Getting thicker piping willl make it even louder... Putting headers will make that very loud.

That is a good start but I need to know what size is the stock pipe and if these will work and sound decent: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m32

U wanna put those mufflers on your car??? LOL
Not to say it is bad but that's for muscle cars, it would sound look/different... It doesnt matter what size, you can always weld them on.
I put my magnaflows and their size was 2.5" if i'm not mistaken.

I found a guy on You tube that put them on his car, it gave it a nice little growl but still kept the classiness.

i have glasspacks on my 72 ford f-100. headers with the smallest chamber size that glasspack made. Its louder the most motorcycles. And the cops just love it. but my truck is a hotrod truck not an audi.
