Hello all,

I'm currently looking at a used 2005 1.8T SE here at a local dealership.
I've taken a good look at it, and its in excellent condition. I plan on test driving it soon.

Anyways, it has 75k miles on it, and next time I'm there I'll be sure to check the belts or ask them about it.

The one thing is that it's a regular car dealership, not a Audi dealership.
Any advice/tips would be appreciated

I was looking for a Audi A4. The one I saw had 75K miles, I asked the non-Audi dealer if I could bring it to Audi for a inspection. They agreed so I had it for a couple hours. Audi charged $93 for the inspection but it turned out that there was $3500 in damage. I didnt get it. I had another one inspected and it turned out that it was fine!

I would definitely recommend getting an Audi inspection on it before you buy it.

Yeah, I would definately wanna have a Audi dealer inspect it. Don't know if the dealer would let me take it there though since the Audi dealer is about a little over 4 hours away

 

I bought a used '05 1.8T about 1.5 years ago and it has been nothing but trouble. Ready to get rid of the damn thing. I had it inspected before purchase and there wasn't anything wrong with it but at 70k it began to self destruct. I would never buy another A4.
