I drive a 2005 1.8T Cab for identification purposes. I was driving home when someone ran a red light on the street I was crossing and I had to brake really hard. After I tried to accelerate and it felt like the wheels were slipping which I assumed was ice and the car jerked and when it started accelerating again I noticed the steering wheel felt really easy to turn (loose) and when I tried to accelerate out a stop the car started weaving and the rpms would spike really high but the car wouldn't accelerate. When I braked it felt like there was a grinding and something was pushing back against my pressure on the brake pedal. Finally when I turned right onto my street at a low speed, around 15 mph, the car didn't turn tightly like usual, it swooped all the way in the the other lane. You guys have any idea what went wrong?
