Default Lumbar support

The lumbar support is gone on my 2005 b6 a4 sline, just pushing the seat out and back in, how much will this cost to fix at the dealership? Is there a cheaper way? Thanks

One of the wires broke in my seat back and I bought a wire rope splice and crimped the wire back together. Now the lumbar support pushes the lumbar instead of pushing out the back of the seat. Cost less that $1. I didn't take any pictures.

What Dan1969's link shows is exactly where mine broke. I used this type of splice and crimped it. Seems to work so far.
