Default motor mounts

so this weekend i decided to change my mount.
one was shot so i did both might as well right.
decided to do something different and bought sterns the soft kind.
http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=2791
everything went fine till i started the car.
noticed that the engine vibrates more than before i was thinking because the mounts are new.
can anybody help me out or has encountered the same problem.
The is not CEL or any problems with it.

its an a4 1.8t fwd

Before you torque down the motor mounts did you start and let the engine idle?? The motor has to be centered in order to prevent the rough idle.

Just loosen up the bolts, let the engine idle a little and then tighten them back up. The reason for this is because the engine does not end up back in it neutral position after you jack it up to replace the motor mounts.

The Stern Mounts will also require a little break-in period to soften up a little. If anyone is interested in these mounts I sell them for $199+shipping
