2 screws and the coil pack is out not difficult but dont replace for the sake of it the system will throw a code like P0300 to P0308 depending on how many cylinders you have ( 4 pack = P0301 to 4 and so on )

+1 for the Hitachi E type packs. I blew 4 of the R type packs before switching to the E's, and not a single failure since.
