Default new at this.
how do you change your own oil on a 2003 a4. what kind of special tool do you need that everyone says you need if any?

No special tool. Remove the belly pan. Remove drain plug. Remove filler cap. Let drain. Remove filter carefully and it will be messy. Put a new filter on. Fill it with oil.

Basically the same as any car.
