I own a 2002 1.8 A4, and the previous owner has removed the fog lights on the car and I keep getting fault lights telling me all my front lights are out. Is this because the fog lights are no longer there and the computer reads everything wrong or is there another problem i need to track down? Or can i just find a set of factory fog lights and plug them back in to fix this?

 

I would try finding the fog lights at a junk yard first, just because fog lights are pretty
and it might end up fixing the problem.
