No 1st or reverse!!!??? Help!

No 1st or reverse!!!??? Help!

I drive a 2004 a4 quattro 3.0L Its a 6 speed manual. The car goes into every gear but 1st and reverse??? Is the clutch done or could it be something else?? Any advice is greatly appreciated

by sounds of it.it could be something else.might be the on of the seletors inside the box doing what it should done.

Um, maybe I'm crazy, but I don't think a manual trans car has a TCM, unless you count the stickshift itself and/or your hand.
