I was given this car from a friend. 207,000 miles

its has code p0299 Underboost
& p0420 Bank 1

i have replaced the turbo, Diverter valve, n75 valve, boost sensor

i have done a smoke test. From that I replaced a check valve with a hole in it and my intake to turbo tube had a hole. Which is now replaced.

I STILL Have the same 2 dumb codes. Running out of ideas

clogged cat? MAF Sensor? New engine haha

I've checked my logs and these are the codes I had:

16683 - Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
P0299 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded
16804 -
P0420 - 002 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

I eventually replaced my Cat and at the same time inspected my Turbo, the flapper wasn't sealing correctly - so adjusted the flapper nuts. My fault then cleared and the car is much faster, so the combination of a blocked Cat and wastegate flapper solved my issue. FYI: I fitted a cheap Cat from ebay - it's been fine but only expect a year or so out of it - will then buy another rather than dealer prices....
