Hey I have been looking to paint my lowers, but every where I go they say that they can't paint it because its plastic. But that is BS cuz I know people do it. And some places said that they could paint it but it would crack. Besides painting it myself cuz I'm just not familiar with that kinda stuff, what can I do?

 

Well, so if the options are either do it yourself or have someone else do it and you can't get anyone else to do it that pretty much leaves you. I did mine myself and I'm not sure I'd ever held a spray paint can before. You can do it, the DIYs are very thorough and the job itself is not difficult.

 

all you gotta do is spray adhesion promoter first

 

but arent the unpainted lowers textured?

 

The front and rear valances are...but the DIYs address that (filler primer).

Im trying to get my lowers painted too but I don't know of a good auto body shop to check out in my area. How much am i looking to spend here?
