Is the "034" valve or pancake supposed to be on the TIP or on top of the combi valve on a 2003 1.8t?

 

Ok i have no idea what that valve is called. It's a puck valve I have seen on the TIP and above the Combi valve. I don't know where it is supposed to be and I am getting frustrated, I can't find anything on it besides it being in different places. Something about it being above the Combi starting 03.5 models. I guess mine is a 2003.5, because mine is above the combi valve.

 

Any help here? I'm getting more response from the frigging b5 forum!
