Hey guys,

Just bought a 2003 A4 Avant 1.8TQM in red to use as my work commuter. It is totally standard and whilst i wont be going crazy with modifications i'd like to do a few things like getting the lowers painted, APR flash and nicer wheels. One thing i really wanted to see before i go ahead and get the lowers painted is a red B6 avant that has had the lowers painted. I havent ever seen one.

Does anyone have a photo or could point me in the direction of one?

Can anyone tell me where i can buy the plastic door strips that run along the bottom of each door? What are they called? I know the s-line and S4 have them.

 

Are you referring to these? (You'll find that you can get a ton of different parts from ECS.)

 

u should check the classfieds on audiworld audizine if u want to get them a little cheaper.

 

For that matter, Shokan might have some cheaper too.

 

Yes, thats them. Ouch........$500 plus having to get them painted.

 

Dont set your mind on apr. I Have the same car and i got revo stg 1 and i love it. I also got in on sale and only payed $300 for it vs the $500 apr

 

I'll definitely consider all the options..........if its only $300 then it might be a winner.

 

So here is what i am proposing to do to the avant. Its totally standard at the moment.

1. paint lowers
2. S4 door blades
2. window tint
3. audi a4 B6 S-line wheels (the big 5 blade ones)
4. ECU Flash. APR or Revo

Im new to Atlanta, specifically Dunwoody. Can anyone recommend a paint shop and window tint shop (or mobile company)? Nothing too pricey if possible............
