Default plan needed

so i have lurked around this board and see what kinds of parts everybody is using and there seems to be a lot out there for this model. what i need is a plan. my current project is N/A, i knew exactly what steps to take with it and the proper order. i have never worked on a turbo ride and am kinda clueless as to where to start. i read somewhere here to get the ecu flashed 1st. my question is then do i have to get it re-flashed with every bolt on? my other car, i bolted everything i could to it, then got it tuned. then broke into the engine, then got re-tuned. do these practices still apply here?

i would say go for the k&n drop filter first as installing an intake will rob horsepower then go and change ur coilpacks as these go bad also. Look at ecs tunning. Then change ur injectors and get a DV FMIC And if all turns out well get a chip and turbo and u should be set to go. Other then that look on audizine or something and see what other mods u can do. This is just a short and sweet version. Use the search button all the info is in here u just gotta look.

Ghost,
In order to start a plan it would be good to set a budget and a goal on how much horsepower you want to make. Is the b6 going to be a daily, or a track car? As for the the ecu being flashed. Its the best bang for your buck. Look for the closet shop, for any future support needed. Along with the flash, I would recommend upgrading the DV and the coilpacks to Hitachi version "E". A downpipe or HFC with an aftermarket exhaust will free up the flow. Let us know what your plans are and we will give you our $.02

no ****, i read that. it is a nice list of parts. what i was looking for was a natural progression of modding this car so as not to waste money that could be spent else where. here is an example...the other car that i have i did the exhaust 1st. then did the headers. what sux about this is that the exhaust has to come back off to do the headers. wasted hours. then i got on track and got a tuner, cai, ported t body, and a lower t stat. next phase was the heads, cam lifters, and push rods. the heads and the cam i did together cause the heads have to come off to do the cam anyway, save some time and $ by doing it once. i am currently about 4 weeks out waiting for my stroker to show up. that car is n/a, the a4 obviously isn't, which is why i asked for some guidance in this project....thanx for your help...

the other car will see the track more than this one. i may go with this one after each phase just to see what it will do. for the most part it will be a part time driver and winter car. i just know i won't be able to leave it stock, lol! i don't want to dump more than 2 at the very most 3000 into it. so like i said b4 i have never worked on a turbo car, nor know much about them. i am learning as i type this...

No but the more juice you squeeze out of it. The quicker weak points will be exposed. (vacuum lines, clutch, blah, blah,) you get it. I would probably plan on doing a timing as well in the near future.
