ok so i have a lot of change in my ash try thing and not i think some of it got stuck behind the part were it opens. now it only opens half way instead of opening all the way. does anyone know how to take it apart without breaking it. i tried pulling on it and everything but it wouldn't work.

Sory you had to wait just to get this but...
Removing the ashtray is a procedure. It's not like everyother ashtray in everyother car. Of course Audi'd never make it that easy. If I remember correctly from reading on my Bentley manual you have to disassemble some of the center console and I also think it required a special tool to do. What I do remember for sure is that it seemed like way more work than I wanted to put in to have a clean ashtray so I grabbed some rags, cleaning solution and a vacuum cleaner.
There is nothing wrong with your ashtray its just an incredibly stupid design. Clean it out the best you can and forget about it...

 

u need radio removal tools and then from there u must take the ac out and well to say the least have sum fun while trying this is u attempt it good luck
