Hi Guys,

I'm about to buy a 2003 A4 1.8TQ Avant with manual trans but before i do is there anything i should look for when i inspect? Is there anything that regularly goes bad with these?

Also, can someone tell me if the Auto 1.8T qauttro B6 had the CVT trans or was it a different auto?

oh and whats the factory HP of these cars?

 

CVT is only the FWD automatics. Factory HP on the B6 1.8Ts is 170. (This is of course easily upgraded if you want.)

 

yeah, i think i'd like to get some kind of chip/flash for it to bring the HP up a little more.

I also want to get the lowers painted. Does anyone here have a photo of a red B6 avant with the lowers painted? I'd really like to see what it looks like.
