Thumbs up power steering always thirsty

alright guy so last night started my car up in the real cold weather n the pwr steering started to whine, checkd the fluid yup its low! i got it flushed and re filled no more than 2 months ago! seeing as it was about midnight when i found out and today was sunday i needed something in there so i calld the local pepboys and they said "bardahl" synthetic powersteering fluid for euro cars should work.. i opend the bottle in the store to see the color it was a light yellowy green liquid. didnt really say much information about it on the bottle, so in the parking lot i took a turkey baster from home and tryed suckn all the old fluid out or wat was rest of it and it was a thick greeny yellow lookd like flemmy puke? anyways so after gettin that all out i poured the new stuff in and wallah the whine is gone. but since i dont trust this stuff nor havent herd of it unless u guys think it will be ok, i didnt really drive the car today so on monday i am going to the stealership and will prolly have them drain and refill the system with the mineral fluid?

whats your guys thoughts sorry about the ramble

the ps is very specific .. it needs the correct fluid.

if your car is dropped there is a chance you have a leak in your power steering rack. that is what happened to my car
