Proud owner of an Avant? Show your Beast here
Avant owners. Show us your wagonmobile. List mods if any. I will be posting mines as soon as I get a chance (new owner). My wife made me give up my sports car for a wagon, so I really do need some time to adjust and recover. Show me the potential. LOL.

How does 340HP sound. Not sure if you have the 1.8T, but if you do, that's for you. If you don't, you can still supercharge, but if the misses made you give up the sports car, good luck swinging the 5 digits to supercharge a 3.0.
If you have the 1.8T, with injectors and a chip from APR, (buy the injectors elsewhere, APR overcharges by about $175), you can have 245HP/275lb-ft for under a grand (the only possible "needed" supporting mods are a $50 diverter valve upgrade and coil packs at $30 each). Even with all that, you are still at $500 for the stage 1+ chip, $325 for injectors (same ones APR tries to charge you $500 for), $50 for the DV, and $120 for 4 coilpacks. $995 exactly, lol. Like I said, you aren't completely out of the prformance game just cause you got a wagon. An upgraded exhaust on top of that can add as much as 15-17 more HP...

Some sweet looking Avant's in there, better looking than my sedan!
I've always liked wagons, had a baby blue '86 Aries, and a cherry red '97 Legacy Outback. I think I either want an Avant next or it's time to venture into coupe land. I definitely miss being able to pile speakers or people in the back end.

03 1.8T (new engine). Looked at the APR site. Impressive. Lots of work and $$ to get to 345HP.
Start with a chip, injectors, and exhaust. APR is running a special till April 10th, 15% off exhaust, and a fully loaded ECU (normally $1100 with all the programs and such) for the base charge of $499. You got the same car as me in Avant form. The exhaust is expensive, but from general opinion (I've seen so many damn numbers I forget which had dyno's to back them up) the exhaust adds another 15 or so HP on to that chipped number.
