Purchase? '02 3.0 w/ 247,000 miles !!!????
Hey guys, first post. I'm considering a local car....it's a 2002 A4 w/ the 3.0V6, and has 247,000 miles on it. It has obviously sat on the highway for its entire life which is usually a good thing. I am, however, cautious...I work for a dealer that used to carry Volkswagen, and the cars were amazingly JUNK! Little things that don't break down till well over 100k, would fail consistantly on these cars at 50-60k.....CV boots come to mind. What does the A4 have in common w/ any of the VW's and what issues are there? Thanks in advance. Oh yeah....dealer is asking $6500 for the car.
holy crap...they want 6500 for a car with 247,000 miles on it?? oh my god. Thats rediculous. They should be selling that for like 2 grand max!! If that thing hasnt had more than three timing belt services, I would steer clear.
Floor mats are a little dirty and if you think vw's are junk then you dont deserve an audi. Same quality which I love compare it to some of the domestic trash thats out there. Lets see passat boots every 40k to 60k. Dodge tranny every 40k to 60k.
