Rear Brakes~~~Please help ASAP
Hey guys,
I'm trying to replace my rear rotors and pads...but I can't seem to get my rear calipers to compress so that I can put the new pads on. Do I have to release the parking brake cable or something along those lines to release some pressure? I already have the cap for the fluid off. I'm hoping there is something that I am missing and that my calipers aren't seized. Both sides are exactly the same way. The pads weren't completely worn either, I was just replacing them because I figured if I did the front I might as well to the rear as well.
Any help would be great, since my car is currenlty jacked up in my driveway without rear brakes...
PS. The parking brake is off.
Thanks,
Mike

Yea, turned out the problem was the tool i had borrow was busted, when you put pressure on it, it locked up, went to pep boys and got another tool and all is good again. Thanks for the reply nihil
