Hello everyone,

I'm new to this form and to Audi. I just bought 02 Audi 1.8t and I'm loving it. However, the the rear speakers don't work . I don't find any obvious problem (all the wires looks fine). Is there any magic switch in Audi that turns the rear speaker off? Thank you in advance.

Take another speak off of a door and plug it into that connector and see if the speaker works, if it does, both back speakers are just blown.
You could also check for voltage at the speakers using a voltmeter.

 

Another thing to check would be to check the voltage at the amp or head unit if no amp. Then you know if its wiring or your realllly screwed
