Remote and key central locking
HELP PLEASE???!!! I have a 2003 A4 Avant.
The remote central has stopped working and when I put the key in the driver's door it only unlocks the driver's door. The only way that i can get the other doors unlocked is by putting the key in the ignition and turning it on. This then unlocks the rest of the doors.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is and how I can fix it?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

to unlock the rest of your doors without the remote or turning on your car, just follow the unlock procedure twice, just like you would with the remote (tapping the "unlock" button 2x).
so insert key, turn left, then back to vertical, then left again.
but get a new battery in the fob and reprogram the key. the key can be reprogrammed by simply putting the key in the ignition, turning it to the accessory position (not on, but the position where the electronics kick in), turning it back off, remove the key from the ignition, and press the lock or unlock button.
