Repairing windshield chip or replace windshield.
Hello my car was victim of a stone chip to the front windshield today. When these are repaired is the repaired area visible? It is the size of a pencil eraser and there are no cracks. I am concerned that if they replace it, it will be obvious that it was replaced-visible bead of glue, sloppy work etc...I am very particular when it comes to stuff like this so i want it to look good. Any help will be appreciated.

If it's the size of a pencil eraser you will still be able to see it if you get it repaired.
To repair they just force in some kind of adhesive, it works pretty well and on smaller cracks and chips they pretty much disappear. You will still see the larger ones though.
The repair should be less than $100 so you could always try that out, if you don't like it then get the windshield replaced.
