Funny how you mention this. I need a whole new driver side visor myself too. The slide switch don't work and light doesn't turn on. And it keeps falling sometimes while driving.

I'm in the same boat! I went to a junk yard and snapped a clip off of a Volvo. Then bought some gray spray paint and used superglue to attach to the other half. This failed in about 10 minutes! I am going to try it once more though!

EDIT: I tried the superglue again and again it broke. Back to that piece from ECS, anyone know how to install it...er...is it a pain in the *** to install?

It pops out with a flat head screw driver. New one pushes right in.

strange
very strange. I pulled it but it seemed like I was going to damage the headliner so I decided to find out what's the right way to do it.

Wondering why is like this, on the passat it has 2 screws to hold it in place...
