hi all,
So i drive my car into this cheap carwash and as those giant scrubbers were swinginin at my car, the driver side side view mirror tilted forward! Now I know it ain't supposed to do that. However, one of those rolling brushes on a spindle in the carwash snapped it back into place.
Wondering if any permanant damage was sone to the mirror. Its not an automating folding type, but the mirror adjustment is working fine.

Anyone ever see a mirror forld forward? !!!

Thats a lesson not to take the car to a cheap carwash ever again.

 

No problem, they are supposed to do that, it's called break away mirrors and prevents more damage. Yes, avoid that car wash in the future, actually I avoid car washes completely.
