I have an: 04 A4 1.8t quattro sedan

Tonight while slowing down at an intersection my car stalled, after I managed to restart the car the check engine light and the EPC light were on.
I also noticed I am unable to use cruise control any more.

I am thinking I may need to replace the "Engine Speed Sensor".
Would this also be causing my loss of cruise control?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!

i think your right on the speed sensor. I know when the cruise control does not work there is a sensor that allows it not to work. But i though iirc that it was the brake switch. . . The stalling might be something else unrelated.
