stock suspension help
Howdy, so I got a 2003 a4 quattro avant wagon, wondering what the specific stock suspension is on my ride? Bought the car partially modded so it came with KW V2's slammed to the ground, problem is I rub everywhere. The suspensions adjustable but you can barely notice the height difference after I raised it as much as spec allows.
So I'm thinking of going back to a stock setup so I can get some height back.
Was the stock setup on the a4's coilover?
Anyone know the manufacturer of the stock ones?
Anyone trying to sell there stock ones or any suggestions on a kit that's not an arm and a leg and gets me off the ground, I have no desire to be lowered to many issues with driving in the Mt's and the rest of cali.

have u consider getting a thinner tire. . . . I have that problem and ended up getting 235/35/19 and my rubbing went away. Also u can remove the top scew in the wheelwell and roll the fenders. IF u want stock suspension i have stock springs but no shocks.
problem isn't tire rubbing, they dont rub at all actually. But any thinner on my 20" rims and there'd be no rubber.
Problem is ground clearance, I rub the front bumper when pulling into driveways, speed bumps, pretty much everywhere.

If you now have coilovers your screwd. You'll have to bite the bullet and buy new shocks. Audi shocks will cost you an arm and leg. Go to a parts dealer and get aftermarket shocks and springs they will prolly be better and cheaper. The counter guys usually know their stuff. Keep the coilovers you'll recoup part if not all your your switch cost if they are in good shape
Yea the KW's I have are coilover. I was wondering if I got the stock springs and put them in there if that'd work, is the biggest thing in a lowering coilover just the coil?
Figured I might have to buy a new setup any suggestions on a brand and type of suspension to get me back in the air?
what was the stock equipped suspension?
