strange sound coming from the passenger side front of the engine compartment. Its very quick, only under load in 2nd through 4th gear and lasts maybe half a second. its like a very quick rattlish sound. almost sounds like something spinning hitting metal.

car drives very well though. no problem shifting, clutch feels fine, makes boost, idle is solid etc.

this happens at random points in the rpm range too. usually when i get on the accelerator more.

 

i would want to say its the heatshield? Check to see that its secured. CAn u produce the sound parked while rev'ing the motor?

 

ill check that, its only when driving.
