strange warning symbol ??

Default strange warning symbol ??

i have a 2002 A4
and on the display i have this warning :
what is it ??
anyone who knows ?
i dont have the manual

That would be the symbol for a dipped headlight. It often occurs when you turn on the headlights while they are disconnected. It basically means that the auto-leveling feature isn't working at the moment and needs to be cleared through vag-com.

either ur motor went dead or ur lightbulb went dead.

my motor is not dead ,,,its all good
i think its the level of my headlight bulb .. its very low and i dont know how to level it ??

I was not even aware I had auto-leveling headlights until that icon lit up on my A6. It was either a bad sensor or a bad headlight leveling motor. The only way to replace either one (on my A6) was to replace the entire headlight assembly. Since my headlight aim seemed normal and no one was blinking their hi-beams at me, I pulled fuse 10 and the icon went away.

thats what i mean ur headlight level motor went dead. "Not ur actualy motor" either way do what ppgoal said. Pull 10 fuse and that should make the code go away. then there should be little white tabs ontop on the headlight housing those are for manual adjustment.

i did as u said and thie warning is gone
i went to a workshop .. they leveled the lights for me .. but they said i better correct it by re-activating the auto-leveling function
