sub help

Default sub help

i have three performence technique subs 1000watts each a performence tech amp 2000watts and a performence cap 1.5 farad .....and when i turn off my car i get extreme humming noise from the subs i have to turn the key for it to stop. help me plz

It seems u probably have a wire rubbing somewhere in ur system. a low key hum is a wire touchin metal check where ur rcas are also and pretty much check all connections make sure ur wires are not stickin anywhere . let me know

well i didnt read ur post correctly but either way its gotta be your wires. MY sis had that problem and it went away when she replaced her sub so maybe check all ur connections again. The ones going into the actual sub and subbox. Maybe one of those is touching and check all ur power/ground/ inline wires. Check to make sure ur fuse box is hooked up right. Thats about all i can suggest. Maybe try to find a caraudio forum. Most of those guys will be able to get a little more specific. to me it sounds like the amp though.

sounds like a grounding problem for sure. Check your ground, and make sure it's getting a good metal to metal contact, no paint. If the ground connection is to the body of the car, try a different ground location, some have more interference than others. Good luck!
