The left side of my car, the tail light is not firmly in place.
It can pop out easily with the use of a finger or thumb.
If you run your hand along the light and body it is not smooth the tail light stick out a little bit. this is unlike the right side which is firmly in place, and smooth.

This does not effect my driving in anyway not is it noticeable unless it is pointed out. When ever i see my car its always in the back of my mind, why is this a little out?

have u tried to see if its in the holes that lock the taillight in place. Just give it a good push on the outter most edges and u should hear a pop noise.

 

I hear a pop noise when i push it in. i think u can hear it in the video too.
i have tried to push it hard but didn't do anything it just came back out like there was a sponge in there.

About the holes i will check again tomorrow i know in the top one it goes in the bottom hole i didn't check and just assumed it goes in.

 

Did you check that the screw that secures the tail light assembly is screwed in tight? You access the screw by popping opening the carpeted circular tab just inside the weatherstripping of the trunk lid.

As paul already knows this is my first Audi :P
I was being too gentle with it.
As the video shows, The screws are tight, The was going in both holes.
The only problem was i didnt push it in hard enough.

lol what ever u do dont pull that red ring it seizes the engine incase ur locked in the trunk. actually its incase ur acuator for for gasdoor gets locked u pull that and it will open the door.

 

And does it eject u in a egg shaped pod from the boot into space? lol
