how do i take off my tail lights on an A4 1.8L is there screws? or

 

there are small round covers inside the trunk, pop those out and then there is a bolt or a nut. its easy.

most things are pretty easy, just take your time and youll be good.

 

I am having trouble with my tail lights, it sends error to my dash board. It says all my lights are out even if its working fine. Both driver and passenger side are sending error =/. Used to have LEDs on it but when this happened, I replaced it with bulbs but it still sends error.

 

idk about that.

 

If you put LEDs before you must have had an error all the time, now if it's telling you to check your D/S or P/S brake light make sure you're putting the bulb in the correct slot, also sometimes the little receptacle gets crusted up with corrosion or doesn't make full contact with the bulb.
