What exactly is the difference between an ultra sport and well say this one?

22k is a little out of my price range lol

Go from there, Edmunds is really good. I'd also look at Book value as that is going to be a lot higher, and what your going to pay taxes on (here in Vermont you pay taxes on book or sale price, whichever is higher, most likely different elsewhere).

Just make sure you get the VIN number...

If they ask for an offer, start at 14k. Private Party true-market is $14,111.

Car's clean, if you can get it for under $15,000, do it up. $15k-$16k, I'd hesitate. I wouldn't pay over $17k.

One thing I will say in favor of the V6, heated rear seats...
My 021.8T has heated rear seats.

I was looking at new Audi's and the build-my-own thing on the site said the V6 only has heated front and rear, I combined that with the fact that mine has front only (1.8T), and I haven't seen a 1.8T with front and rear. I called it an educated guess but this is todays lesson in what happens when we assume things

So the next step is where do I go to order "replacements" for my rear heated seats

Thanks for the clarification though! Even though it now means that I see no advantage to the V6 lol

Not that I'm knocking it, but now I see that I can have everything I want including power for cheaper. 1.8T + Chip = Cheaper than V6 =P

Though I will say this, I drove one a while back, and its still an Audi, and it is still an unmatched vehicle in my book. I love all Audi's big and small, but only with Quattro. If I wanted weak luxury I'd get a Mercedes =P

I had an 03' Brilliant Black 3.0 and it was an awesome car. The fact that you cannot mod it beyond an exhaust and a chip is not a big deal. The car had excellent power and something that few 1.8T cars can say they have... TORQUE like a banshee!

The reason I got rid of mine? I put 30k on it in a year with my commute. I dumped it before the value was shot with high miles. Now I'm running the miles up on my 03' Avant 1.8T which by comparision to my beloved 3.0 is a gutless wonder.

I still love the car though. It gets great gas mileage, and it looks sharp. It's all good...

Have you chipped your 1.8T aside from the tip chip in your sig? chip=270ish LB-FT torque if I recall... Somewhere in that neighborhood.

I will give you the low end torque, but with the flat stock powerband torque wise (most of it available at like 1950RPMs!!), I'd say Audi did a pretty good job of making it feel close to a V6... Note I said close to

I LOVE my 1.8T, and love that its mods fit my budget.

Not that I'd ever say no to a V6 hehe

I think that there's some confusion here. I have an APR TIP (Turbo Inlet Pipe.) I haven't done anything to the ECU of my car yet. They don't do a chip for the TCM of the B5/B6 A4 cars that I am aware of.
