Default Timing Belt

How difficult are the Audi timing belts to replace as opposed to other cars?

Do most people feel comfortable bringing their Audi's to "regular" mechanics for belt replacement, or specialized mechanics?

I brough mine to a dealer and know that I'll be paying through the nose?

What shops or mechanics to you recomment on Long Island?

Thanks-

Bartlett

Yes you need to change your water pump (with metal impeller), all needed tensionsers... sometimes a serpantine belt and get a new coolant.
