Nope, depending who does the job. you can ask your buddy who works at the tint shop to do the job and he will do it for $100, you can go to the same shop when he is not there and they will charge you $200. I mean i dont know.

Usually only thing I've heard of is the warranty offered. Some of the more expensive guys more readily offer lifetime warranties on the tint. Which is super nice to have. Ever peels, cracks, or bubbles bring it in and redone free.

The tint used also affects the price. Cheap tint that you can get from like Pep Boys or somewhere like that tends to bubble up or turns purple in a few years.
Solar guard and Formula 1 tint film are some of the best out there.

Warranty, quality of the install, and the products. The better shops will warranty their work because they know it's done right. As far as installation quality, well 2 different shops can use the same product but if one has retards working there and they do a bad job on the install, then you'll run into a problem.
Also the better shops are going to carry the good stuff, like the person above me said, Solar guard, Formula 1, and Suntek.
My suggestion is not to go to the stereo shops that offer the tint as a package deal cause you're going to end up with a cheap product. You know, $300 gets you subs, amps, alarm, and tint.
Leave that junk alone. Go to a real shop and be sure to ask what products they are using cause it makes a difference.

I chose a guy because he was more expensive. Guess what? HE didn't know jack! It took him 3 hours to finish one window lol retarded right?

I had to take it to a local tint shop that charges $110 for tint and wow I am impressed! They did a better job than that fool. It all depends on who you get. I prefer giong to the shops rather than the "DRIVE TO YOU" tint guys, unless it's from a reputable tinter.
