Tires
BFs have always been a good tire IMO, but I would put Toyo Proxes T1R tires on there, or if you have the money some Nitto Invo tires, and I have heard a lot of good about Pirelli tires too, but the Nitto Invo are the only things tempting me to look at anything but Toyo.
Tires and oil are the two big things on here that are very opinionated, followed by the great DV debate, and possibly exhaust tone. LOL

This is another tire related issue, it will sound somewhat silly, but I think it is important.
From what I understand, one of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to get a major increase in performance is by investing a proper set of tires. That said, what is a good price point for some high quality street tires, and what types would you recommend? Approximately how much of your total budget should you allot to tires?
*this is based on the fact that in Forza, you can greatly improve car handling by getting better tires. I know this is fuzzy logic, but lets run with it.

If you have a 1.8T, get chipped first. It will be cheaper and give you many more real-world gains than tires (how often do you find yourself sliding into guard rails thinking, damn, if I could just get a little more grip...). Not saying tyres aren't a worthy upgrade at all, its just that with 170hp, you aren't going to be breaking those puppies loose any time soon. If you are into curvies, yeah rubber will help, but still not more than a Chip. If you are in a V6, get the tires, the chip will only net you 10-15hp or so, but I don't have a V6 so I am less informed in that arena.
Check out tirerack.com and seach up tires on there. Even if you don't buy from them, they still offer great advice as to what's the best based on thousands of peoples' opionons.
I searched on there before i got my new rims and chose the Yoko S-Drive 235/40/18 tires and can't complain at all. Great tires, i recommend them highly

I had SPTs on my nsx, they were ok. On the audi I've got Michelin pilot sport as pluses, they're amazing. A bit pricey though, like 202 each! I wouldn't have gotten them if discount hadn't mispriced them online for 135 or so.
