O K is dropping a turbo into a V6 Audi A4 quattro really worth the trouble of finding an aftermarket kit. Do they even make an aftermarket turbo kit for the A4.

 

No turbo kits that I am aware of. PES makes a supercharger kit for the 3.0, but it's reliability and drivability remain questionable.

 

what he said..... search on www.audizine.com for some people with the kits, ive seen several blown engines but a lot of it was the operator on two of them i know.....

 

It would be easier and more cost effective to piece together a turbo kit for your car.

 

good luck.. who is going to do the programming/tune? a bad tune will ruin your day and engine...

custom mounts, exhaust mani's, will the cats hold up with the higher heat? intercoolers, injectors... thats a lotta custom work

 

[hr]What if i find an ecu from a 2.7L turbo and peiced together a kit from after market parts and a salvage manifold? the ecu should just be a plug in right?

 

Most Audi aftermarket companies will do the build for you and the tune.
