2002 a4 1.8t is the model. i was told to get one to help prolong my turbo, any suggestions??? or don't i need one? my first turbo so any help is appreciated...thanks

 

I am thinking about the same thing I recommend it to cool off purpose. For the turbos at least.

you just need to either let it idle for 30sec to a min or drive normal for the last mile or so before you park.

these cars do not like idle much.. and there is one obstacle in the way of installing that, its called immobilizer.

 

maybe your right I had to run a turbo timer for my turbo in my lexus t67 at 15psi its a less compression but I used to having it spool longer and harder then the Audi A6 2.7T
