Default Uncommon coolant leak

I have an antifreeze coolant leak around the driver's side of engine. Near oil filter. Possible thermostat? Don't see any around the tstat though. Oil cooler? Has anyone had any problems like this?

check in the rear of the engine before the firewall. Coolant flange could be cracked.

That was the 2nd place I checked after the radiator and hoses. Do not see any buildup but the only place I see any antifreeze is around the oil dipstick and oil filter area. None in front or behind (other that blowback). Any other suggestions? I want to avoid removing everything to try and find the cause but if I must, I must. Poor Gretchen.

Head gasket? Does the oil look "milky"?

Oil looks fine. Due for a change but normal. The leak is only coolant with no signs of oil contamination. Isn't it somewhat abnormal for a head gasket issue? About the sensor, I am not sure but I do not see the root of the problem. Where is it located? Any guesses or ways of locating it. My coolant level has stayed pretty normal although dropping minimally.

Found the issue. Freeze plug near the thermostat. Uncommon? I have seen some other posts on this. All the other common leaks are fine (nonexistent). May be something to review. I had the work done at a shop due to time constraints. Is there anything else I should be concerned about that may have caused this?
