Very Confused!!Sell as is or fix then Sell? 04 A4 1.8t Quattro
Hello Everybody
I bought a certified 2004 a4 1.8t 6speed Quattro back in 08 with 35k miles. Life has been great with it.
All my oil changes every 10,000 or less miles have been done at the dealership in both NJ and CA. The car was shipped, not driven across country.
Some things done:
+front Window Regulator was replaced and covered.
+I had a tensioner problem which lead to my timing belt and pump being done at 80k miles.
+At 83k miles the Throttle body was replaced.
- One day my driver side back rear seat height adjustment stopped working and my airbag light came on. Never fixed that but was quoted at $150.
-Year Later I had a check engine light (P0507) for a week come on which lead to a blinking check engine light and my oil pressure light coming one as well not being due for an oil change.
-$370 later the crankcase vent valve and breather hoses were replaced. This fixed the check engine light and the other codes.
There I was told the Oil pump MAY have worn out and that was causing the oil pressure problem and priced at $750 to fix.
-I went to another local spot a 1/4 mile away from my house to get an oil change just to see if anything might change. There they didnt mention the Oil Pump instead:
1. Coolant Flange assembly $296
2. Valve Cover Gasketleak w/ Grommets $264
3. Timing Chain Tensioner gasket $224
- Then I heard about the SLudge Audi possible? recall, i have to pay the dealer $300 for them to go in and see if I MAY be covered? thats what they told me.
-Told it might be the Oil sensor as well!
**It doesn't drive or feel any different, the oil pressure light comes on after a mile or 2 of driving which I have stopped doing**
Aside that it has a creaking sound coming from the passenger side when i cut the wheel at slow speed but seems to go away once the cars warmed up.
It only has 92,500 miles on it, no mods where ever done.
I definitely want to sell it, The car is in great condition aside this oil dilemma, How much would you ask for? if I dont want to fix it.Please Help!!Any advice will be appreciated.

A4 Audi
When I bought my car used it had a head gasket problem (I found out later after they just told me I was a quart low) I got it fixed $360 dollars later and I had about 100,000 miles on it now I have 140,000 and just before it's time for my oil change the light comes on. I think u should trade it while the lights are off or sell as is but with all of the expense it's not ethical to sell to someone knowing all of the costly problems
