Vibration In wheel
Hello All,
I just purchased a Used 2004 A4. When test driving i noticed a slight vibration but did not use the car on highway so figured it was alignment issue. I also had car checked and tech said everything looked good.
Now after having the car I notice on the highway when I accelerate the car vibrates for a second then stops, then starts again. Only happens when accelerating. Also when coasting very slight vibration probally from shitty wheels.
I had an alignment done and this did not fix the problem. Im hoping it is just tires and not something mechanical.
Thanks everyone Im happy to be a new audi member =D

Well of course an alignment didn't fix it, thats not what an alignment does, it just aligns the damn wheels.
Vibrations are caused by a rotating mass, example: tires, wheels, brake rotors, drive axles.
Have your wheels put on a balancer to see whats going on.
