Default Want 18" Wheels, but have ride height questions

I have stock suspension, etc and I am looking to upgrade my rims/tires to 18" instead of my stock 15". My question is will there be a huge gap still between my fender and tire? I think the gap should be less, but I want to make sure. I dont think it will rub at all. I see a lot of pictures with B6's and 18" wheels, but really none that also have the stock height/suspension; basically everyone is lowered. I dont have the money for that right now and I just want to see if 18"s will look stupid with stock ride height or not.

If anyone can provide insight or (hopefully) pictures of any b6's with 18" wheels and stock suspension that would be great. Thanks!

Do you know about how many inches between the tire and fender? I just dont want it to look bad until I have the money to lower it. I might just have to wait and do it all at once.

depends on what suspension your car came with. If u have sport the gap will be a little less. If u run stock non sport it will be much larger gap. do u plan on running coils or springs only spring shock combo? Bags??? here is a pic of the stock 17 sport wheels with suspension. That should give you an idea of the gap you will incurr. Name: PICT0262.jpg

Unfortunately I don't think I have sport suspension. I'm not sure what combo I will eventually run. I'm not too knowledgeable in that area. Which would be the best way to go? Are there complications with any?

Thank you for the picture. It does help.

your best bet would be a coilover kit. They make all different brands and have different prices also. but that is the best way to go about it since its adjustable. if u want though u can run a spring and shock combo but it will cost almost as much as a coilover kit. or you can do bags if u want. im running a coilover kit on my car.
