Question Weird Happening!!

Ok so getting ready for my trip to NewYork i turned the car on and put my car in drive. At that exact moment my break and ESP light came on with a beep. I turned the car off for a moment and let it sit. Turned it back on and while in park made sure that when i turned the ESP on and off that the light would go on and off on the dash. Put the car in drive and no problem for the rest of the day. It happened again the next day. Now i just installed an HID conversion for my headlights. Is it possible that i knocked something loose in the front end? what should i check out?

I've heard of this problem after installing aftermarket HID setups before on audizine. cant really remember the fix... could be something with a resistor or relay or something. do a search over there and see what you find. I'll also try later but i gotta run.

Besides the headlight harness, did you unplug any sensors or anything else? I would take a quick glance to see if theres a sensor unplugged or not making a good contact.

No I did not remove any of the other wires. i will go ack and clean the contacts as well as replug them back in. I went for about 2 or 3 days after the install before a problem arose.
